The outing takes place on Lake Sanguinet (Lac de Cazaux-Sanguinet). It’s the perfect setting for a twilight paddle: a pleasant stretch of water, a natural ambience, and the perfect setting for a gentle paddle at the end of the day.

Sanguinet is easily accessible from the Bassin d’Arcachon and nearby towns such as Biscarrosse.
If you are coming in high season, we recommend setting off early for greater comfort.

Safety & practice conditions

Before you set off, you’ll be reminded of the rules of the road: posture, group coordination, navigation zones and simple rules on the water.

Prerequisite: be comfortable in the water and able to swim 25 m.

This trip is suitable for family outings, with the only prerequisite being that you can swim, and it is organised around the end of one tide and the start of the next to make the experience more enjoyable, following the currents.

In the event of unfavourable weather, a solution may be offered: adaptation or rescheduling depending on availability.
